FAQ’s
Prior to treatment, you will complete a blood test, and receive a comprehensive hormone analysis to determine if you are a candidate. You then gain insight from the medical provider about which hormones are likely causing your symptoms, whether it be thyroid, testosterone, estrogen, progesterone or cortisol. Then, you decides which form(s) of hormone replacement you prefers!
We offer the following options for women:
1. shots twice a week, 2. cream every day, 3. pellets three to four times a year, 4. a daily patch, and/or 5. dissolvable under-the-tongue troches or pills.
Pellets, cream, troches, and pills are bioidentical, from a plant-based source, meaning they match the body’s exact molecules of hormones. Injectable testosterone cypionate is a synthetic version of testosterone, but it is safe when done under the care of a medical professional. You have the option to mix and match until you find the method that works best for you, and blood work is repeated routinely to ensure the safety and effectiveness in your body.
Results time will vary, you may start to feel the benefits of the treatment, including increased mental clarity and energy levels, within a month of the first treatment. After a year of BHRT, your symptoms will continue to improve, including reduction of anxiety, enhancement in self-confidence, and more.
Our treatments are considered an elective procedure, therefore, we do not bill through insurance. We can provide the paperwork to submit to your insurance company to see if they will reimburse treatment cost, but our experience is that they generally do not. We do however accept HSA and FSA cards, credit cards, ApplePay and Venmo.
